Meet Miramar

If UK has London Eye, Taipei has  Miramar Giant Ferris Wheel
Miramar Enterntainment Park is one of the most popular tourist spots in Taipei.

Miramar combines the functions of shopping and recreation area.
My favorite place to watch iMax film.

I think that ferris wheel is a bit too big for me. Too high. Wonderful picture though.

Wow! The Ferris wheel was at the 1893 World's Fair.
Cool.

It could be fun, but I am too little for it and would probably be afraid. I don't think that I would dare. But it is nice that you have such a wheel for those who like to ride!

It's absolutely huge. In Spanish "Miramar" means "see the ocean" -- can you see the ocean from the top of this ferris wheel?

Cool object but too scary for me. Did you know that The Ferris Wheel, developed for the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, was Chicago's answer to the Eiffel Tower built for the 1889 World's Fair? Cool, huh?
