Another Glimpse of Lin Family Mansion

Last time, I featured Doorways in Lin Family Mansion.
The other day was the Reflection in Quiet Water under the Bridge.

Today, I'm sharing you the well-maintained pond.

It is a lovely estate, looking of the past while set in a urban landscape. The wonderful pond is beautiful. Not a forbidding moat, but lovely landscape detail. Lovely shadows/reflections at this stunning mansion!

What a beautiful estate! I agree with what Ralph has written and the pond is so lovely! Much better than a moat -- at least for our times! Enjoy your weekend!

Are you related to the Lin family? LOL

Once in my home town, we had Ling Family timber tycoon. But one generations down the track, they are no longer tycoons.

This does look like a great old pool. Does it have any fish in it?

What beautiful, peaceful photos of the Lin Family gardens! They look familiar - I guess I visited them back in 1990 when I was in Taipei!
