Just an Ordinary Day

I'm having hot cappuccino in my paper cup, bought in newly open store in the school. They offered 30% discount for a week. This is my routine almost everyday, coffee + breakfast in the class :), We're adults so teacher won't mind.

I'm feeling tired lately, I would try to sleep early and I guess exercise will help :)

On my mind is the midterm exams both written (HSK) and  presentation (Intermediate 1) next week.

“Tell me and I'll forget;
 show me and I may remember;
 involve me and I'll understand."
-Chinese Proverb

I'm all for a cup of coffee - I'm just not sure about the treat you have with it?

Involving indeed is more effective than just hearing or merely looking at a concept. That's why they say an excellent teacher demonstates.

I have cut down on coffee since my eyes began twitching. I still love it though and I get myself a cup sometimes. Happy Thursday!

I had a grand Peppermint Latte yesterday. It's fun sometimes to have a cuppa even though I really prefer my tea. Have a wonderful day! Cathy

Thanks for sharing the proverb you have chosen in this post. I like it very much.
My children would agree that hot drinks and snacks are a welcomed part of classroom life!
Good thing we homeschool and can do that on occasion! Best wishes to you on your exams!

Ohhh I love that proverb! It's really true.

Your post made me want to go back to studying Mandarin. I can still read some characters in your picture but my reading skill is really rusted now after many 6 years of not using it.

I learn to drink coffee when I went to graduate school :-)

I hope you make it to the floral fair. Enjoy the rest of the week, Lan.
