D is for Danshui

Danshui is one of the most famous places in Taipei in terms of Night Market. It's not only near the river bank and opposite of Bali (another town), but also it has its own history.

Danshui in Ordinary Day

Overlooking Bali (pronounce as Pali)
This is how Danshui looks like in an ordinary day specially during winter.
The place is gloomy! Usually, we come here to see the sunset and spend time
walking around the night market while munching.

Even this boat is just waiting here for passengers to go to Bali.
On weekends, the boat leaves every now and then,
but for this day not much wants to ride.

Finally, after 30 minutes, the boat is off to the opposite shore.

The favorite corner of people strolling around here,
now it looks like we can play bowling.
