Ju-ju-be

Juicy, Juicy, Jujube

At first glance, they look like green apples,
also known as Chinese Dates.
There are also red, small kinds of Jujube.

I was thinking Apple Pie...but then read on, to see they are not apples at all. Wonder if you could use them in a pie.

when I first look at the photo, I thought jujube are dates, and you have told me it it. I have never seem a fresh jujube. I don't like dried Chinese dates, but sometimes I brew chicken soup with them.

These looks like apples.

Beautiful photo. It made my mouth water. I wonder how this fruit compares in texture and taste to an apple?
